Fly tying tools

Fly tiers use a plethora of small gadgets, such as dubbing teasers, bodkins, or knotting tools, that are basically a needle, or needle-like implement with a handle. Handles for these implements can be readily home-made from pieces of scrap wood using a small lathe.

I've gathered a small supply of exotic (or no so exotic) hardwoods, such as zebrawood, African padouk, bubinga, cherry, walnut, and maple, and am now honing my turning skills on these small handles...
