Means and tools...

Dammerkade

Photography is a long-time passion of ours. We used to run around equipped with SLRs, long and short lenses, and huge supplies of film, B&W as well as slide film.

We had our own traditional, chemical darkroom, which we had to give up when we moved to Ankeveen, due to a lack of real estate. We fretted for several years, until viable digital photography came along.

We started with a Minolta slide scanner, but found this tedious to say the least. About 3 years ago, we acquired a Nikon CoolPix 990, and have never looked back, except for really long-lens bird photography. Recently we bought a HP 850 for snapshot and landscape work, as well as a Canon 300D (Digital Rebel). This is the first prosumer camera that actually feels like a real camera and lets you operate it as such. Its two main selling points are interchangeable lenses and lack of delay in shutter release response.
